Here's a list of movies I would recommend you this month. Halloween just passed, let's have a theme of spooky, gruesome, or thriller for this Movie pick of the month.

Clue
All time favorite. Suspense. Will keep you holding on your seat. Filmed and demonstrated before I was conceived. If you’re familiar with Agatha Christie’s “And then there were none”, somehow the plot of the movie moves along with it. I don’t want to give away the ending though, it’s not the same as the book, if you read it.

A Clockwork Orange

This movie adaptation of Anthony Burgess's famous novel of the same title will not disappoint in making you twitch. Insanely created. Artful and hair-raising.

Bacolod City

The city known for its colorful Maskara festival which is found in Negros Occidental, Visayas region, middle of the Philippines. They definitely lived up to their nickname, "City of smiles", as most of the people I've meet in my three day business trip we're so kind and lovely.

How to get there:
From Manila

By plane - Book a flight either from cebpac or zestair for affordable prices, wait for the promo to avail cheaper seats.
By boat - Schedule your sail from 2GO or Superferry.

It was a business trip, so I went by Philippine Airlines. Had a sucky service tho, they asked what food I want to eat but didn't serve anything. Nice. Slept on it instead.

From the Airport - there were a lot of shuttles or rentals that will take you to any part of the city even its neighbor cities depending on the rate negotiated. You can also share a car with other tourist, if you want to go cheap.
Must go places:
1. San Sebastian Church - It's in the heart of the city, beside the park and surrounded by stalls and food shops. It might look small but the church has a lot to offer, the inside stretches, good for those who would want a long aisle walk for their wedding.

2. New Government Center -locals call it as NGC which also resembles USA's White house. This is the newly founded City hall which replaced the one near San Sebastian church. The place is really inviting, too bad I didn't have time to roam around the place.

3. The Ruins - Based on Roger's tour (yea, he's the guy from PBB and he's doing the tour), this Mansion was built to honor the owner's wife. Didn't really had the time to chill coz we're really on our way back to mnl.

4. Felicia's - If you're into pastries, best not to miss Felicia's. Either having it "to go" or enjoying it "in or out" of their cozy ambiance. Don't forget to take home those enormous macaroons and almond crisp. I was suppose to take home their best seller however, it has to be kept refrigerated and was recommended to skip it instead.

5. Manokan - Bacolod city which is famous for their "chicken inasal" and for that said, I won't accept going back to mnl without knowing how the authentic Bacolod chicken inasal really taste like. Luckily, I was able to convince my colleagues to eat at Manokan instead of the SM which is just street apart.
