As a project given to him by his father, He must remove all the informal settlers occupying the land that they will soon turn into a business property. Kou decided to handle the situation by himself to show his independence and growth in the company and to prove to his dad that he raised up to be like him. Venturing into the Arakawa village, he meets Nino, A woman declaring her existence as a Venusian sent to earth to learn human things and falling in love. In their course to do their individual missions, Kou finds himself falling not only for Nino but also for  the village.
This movie proves that money can't always buy happiness and that letting go doesn't always mean you love less but you are strong enough to let someone be happier.
